Why the Belgian Malinois?

• The short version of our story is that we became friends with a Belgian Malinois breeder and decided to fulfill April's lifelong dream of owning a working-line shepherd. We chose the runt of the litter, hoping she might be a little more manageable as our first Malinois - but she surprised us with an incredible amount of drive and personality packed into a small frame. We quickly fell in love with her intelligence and work ethic.
• About a year later, we had the opportunity to care for another Malinois from the same bloodlines while she awaited her new home - and that home became ours. We fell in love with her as well. Because of her outstanding genetics, temperament, and nerve, we made the decision to breed her with the goal of contributing well-balanced, handler-friendly, and hard-working dogs to the Belgian Malinois community.
